Where to Manage User Accounts
User Accounts are managed globally under Settings > Administer Users.
Who Can Manage User Accounts
Only users in one of the following user groups can manage user accounts:
- Administrators: Full admin access to the Optimizely admin panel.
Properties When Creating/Editing a User

Required; username used for login. |

E-mail address |
Required when creating a new account; e-mail address associated with user account. |

New password |
Required when creating a new account. See password requirements below. |

Confirm password |
Required when creating a new account or updating existing password. See password requirements below. |

Active (Checkbox) |
Optional; determines whether or not the user account is active. When unchecked, the user willl not be able to log in with their credentials. |

Account locked (Checkbox) |
This will be checked if the account has too many login attempts (5 failed attempts within 10 minutes is the threshold). Can be manually unchecked by an Admin. |

Add Group (Dropdown) |
Optional; determines which user groups the user account is associated with. |
Password Requirements
- Minimum Character Length: 8
- Minimum of 1 special character required.
- Minimum of 1 Uppercase character required.
- Minimum of 1 Lowercase character required.
- Minimum of 1 Number required.
