Localization gives you the ability to customize labels throughout the site that you wouldn't typically have access to modify through the CMS. Any text label on the site that you can't already edit through the content properties will be managed through the Localization section of the workarea.

How to Modify a Global Localization Label

  1. Through the top navigation bar in the CMS, click on Localization.
  2. Use the search bar (or Control+F / Command+F) to search for the label on the site that you want to change.
    • The Key column can be used as a guide to make sure you've found the right one as it typically contains the block or page it's used on.
    • NOTE: If you can't find the text you're looking for, it's likely editable elsewhere through the page or block properties.
  3. Click on the linked text under the English column, update the wording, and then click save.

  4. Refresh the page on the site where the label you're trying to change exists and verify that it updated.
If the label did not change on the front-end right away, then the localization key that you updated isn't the right one and should be changed back.

WARNING
Localization labels are global so any text changes will affect all places that the page/block/component is used. Some labels are also shared across multiple pages/blocks, for example, the same "Filter by Industry" label is used on all Insights Listing, Event Listing, and News/Press Listing page types.
