Governmental Organizations
Governmental entities have a unique set of challenges that requires professionals with specific training and experience in the governmental sector. Our governmental audit practice has more than 100 professionals and has been serving local, state, and Federal government agencies for more than 50 years. We also support higher education institutions, school boards and districts, law enforcement and housing agencies, as well as a multitude of quasi-governmental entities.
Because of our diverse governmental client base, we understand and can adapt our services to a wide range of funding sources, natures of operations, requirements for reporting and other matters. Our team members have experience with governmental reporting, GASB pronouncements, the Uniform Grant Guidance, and Subpart F audits (formerly A-133 Single Audits) and have a thorough understanding of Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book).
EisnerAmper is a member of the AICPA’s Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC), which supports our commitment to the profession and its efforts to enhance audit quality. Additionally, the financial statements which we have audited include those which have been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA’s) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, as well as the Association of School Business Official’s (ASBO’s) Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting.
