March 4, 2020: COVID-19 Preparedness Plan
Over the last several weeks, EisnerAmper has developed a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan as part of our efforts to navigate any potential business disruptions and to support the well-being of our colleagues and clients.
In accordance with health agency guidelines, we have placed a restriction on firm-related travel to locations deemed high-risk, and we have advised our colleagues to be prepared to work remotely should a significant outbreak occur in any of the cities where we do business.
The technology systems we use to serve our clients are robust and can be easily and securely accessed regardless of where our colleagues work.
I can assure you that our commitment to our clients remains strong and focused. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact me directly.
As always, thank you for trusting us with your business.
Best Regards,
Charly Weinstein

March 13, 2020: There Are Steps to Take
The health and safety of our colleagues and our clients is our first priority. This morning, after considering the best information available from the CDC and city and state health departments, we asked our staff to work from home beginning tomorrow. Many of our clients have done, or are planning to do, something similar.
For quite some time, most EisnerAmper colleagues have been taking advantage of our remote-working technology and we expect limited impact on our ability to serve the needs of our clients. Our offices are remaining open with the staff necessary to support our operations. Should a critical need arise for any of our staff to work in the office or at a client’s office, and if everyone is comfortable, they may do so.
I am including links to several valuable resources; EisnerAmper Coronavirus Knowledge Center, Additional Resources & Public Links
I have also included a link to an excellent article written by my Partner Jerry Ravi, Coronavirus: Actions To Consider and Questions To Ask.
We are committed to doing all we can to attend to the health and well-being of our colleagues and doing our part to slow the spread of the virus in our communities, while being available to support you and your businesses during these challenging times.
Be well and be safe,
Charly Weinstein

March 17, 2020: Sending Your Information to EisnerAmper
With the coronavirus rapidly spreading throughout communities around the nation, San Francisco and Philadelphia city leaders have placed their cities on lockdown. Given these restrictions, and anticipating this trend of city curfews and “lockdowns” will continue, receiving and processing mail at our office locations is going to be extremely challenging.
Effective immediately we ask that you send all correspondence and data, including tax organizers, digitally to your EisnerAmper client team. Our preferred method to receive documents is through our secure Client Portal. You can access the Client Portal through our website – EisnerAmper.com (see image below).
If you have trouble accessing the Client Portal, please contact us at clientportalsupport@eisneramper.com. If you are unable to use the Client Portal, please send your documents to your EisnerAmper contact via encrypted email.
Your EisnerAmper team will check in with you as events continue to unfold including next steps based on the expected extension of IRS and other regulatory deadlines.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to adapt to the changing environment. We will do everything possible to meet your needs while we continue to safeguard our people and our communities.
Sincerely,
Charly Weinstein

March 27, 2020: Thankful and the CARES Act
COVID-19 has turned the world upside down. For ourselves and our families; for our clients and our businesses. No one has been immune to its impact. However, as I’m sure many of you are experiencing as well, these times are bringing out the best in people. So please allow me a moment to thank you for your support and also to thank my colleagues for their extraordinary efforts.
By tomorrow we are likely to have the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, a $2 trillion stimulus package, signed into law. This package is massive in scope and our teams are prepared to work with all our clients to find ways to leverage the relief it is meant to provide.
We want you to know that EisnerAmper is here to support you and your businesses in navigating through the unchartered territory ahead. Our teams will be in touch and you can continue to find updated information from our COVID-19 Response Team at our Knowledge Center.
“The only thing we know about the future is that it will be different.” Peter Drucker
I agree with Peter Drucker; the future will be different. And though I anticipate that the next few months will be challenging, I am confident that with kind, caring, and thoughtful colleagues, clients and communities, we will embrace the different and find ways for continued success.
Thank you again. Be safe and be well.
