EisnerAmper CEO Charly Weinstein was a January 17 guest of Bloomberg Radio hosts Lisa Abramowicz and Paul Sweeney. Charly gave his 2020 business outlook, citing several interesting statistics from EisnerAmper’s recent Summit Series Survey. For example, while 76% of respondents feel their companies will be equally or more profitable in 2020, 54% are concerned about an economic slowdown. One statistic that really caught the hosts’ attention was the 58% of business leaders who expect to increase their compensation levels. Despite concerns Charly is hearing from clients and colleagues regarding issues such as tariffs, Brexit and the uncertainty surrounding the upcoming U.S. presidential election, business leaders are generally bullish and looking for opportunities to deploy profits. The group also took a look at various business sectors along with the adaptation of technology. Bloomberg Radio can be heard on a variety of platforms including their stations in New York, Boston, Washington DC and San Francisco; SiriusXM radio; and the Bloomberg terminal.
