Strategic Roadmap: Individual Actions

Matt Kerzner:I've already walked you through at a high level the strategic roadmap process in a previous video. What I'd like to do is talk about the last step in this process, which is individual actions. Once you've put the goals together for the entire organization and you start cascading them down by department, then it's time to put individual goals together, so everybody is rowing in the same direction. It is extremely important that every employee knows what's expected of them and how they're going to be monitored in this process.

We will put together with you a performance feedback process where all employees will be held accountable for goals that are going to help the strategic plan come alive. We already mentioned business development, operation efficiency, and people. This cannot be done just at the executive level. Every employee needs to put their fingerprints on this process. And by cascading those goals down and putting a performance feedback process together is only going to make your organization row in the same direction and make this strategic plan come alive.
