EisnerAmper partner MG and senior manager Cindy Feder recently wrote an in-depth article about the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and its provisions that could have far-reaching impact on tax exempt organizations and charitable giving.

The article includes coverage of tax exempt bonds, unrelated business taxable income, a new excise tax on certain executive compensation that will affect larger not-for-profits, and excise taxes on the investment income of private colleges and universities. In addition, there were a number of provisions discussed and considered that ultimately did not find their way into the Act. Please take the time to check out Tax Cuts and Jobs Act: Issues Impacting Tax Exempt Organizations and Charitable Giving.
