David Young Presents at Round Table

EisnerAmper, along with Fund Administration, has been hosting a series of roundtables for emerging fund managers on Long Island, with the most recent taking place Wednesday, January 20. Keynote speaker David Young, President of Gemini Alternative Funds, LLC discussed the benefits of a managed account platform.

Managed account platforms appeal to both individual and institutional investors, as well as portfolio managers. David pointed out that investors like to use managed account platforms because they allow for greater transparency, liquidity, compliance monitoring, and reporting. Portfolio managers enjoy the same advantages and also benefit from having a single operational infrastructure, greater notional funding capability, and access to additional capital.
