Deirdre J. Joyce

Deirdre Joyce is a Tax Director in the International Tax Group with over 25 years of experience providing comprehensive tax service. She specializes in international federal tax consulting services for domestic and offshore investment funds and their managers. Deirdre also provides individual international tax consulting and compliance services for U.S. domestic entities and individuals.

Deirdre advises clients on a variety of issues, including the tax consequences of U.S. and worldwide operations, structuring, managing risk and tax efficiencies, tax treaty interpretations, foreign and domestic withholding rules, and FATCA and CRS matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Deirdre held various positions at both Big 4 and national accounting firms in New York and Canada, where she advised U.S. domestic and multinational clients on their U.S. tax consulting and compliance needs.

Deirdre started her career as an attorney, specializing in commercial, corporate and tax matters. She has also worked in the public sector, where she assisted in drafting legislation, regulations, and rulings.
