Tommy Naquin

Tommy Naquin is a Partner in the firm’s Audit and Assurance Services Group. Tommy has nearly 30 years of public accounting experience and he primarily provides assurance services to governmental organizations.

Tommy serves state and local governments and provides traditional assurance services, including financial statement audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and Compliance audits in accordance with the Single Audit Act and Uniform Guidance.  For those entities applying for the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, Tommy provides assistance with preparing a complete Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, as well as assistance with the application process.  In addition, Tommy provides accounting assistance and augmentation support for those entities with accounting staff shortages.  Tommy also provides consultations pertaining to compliance with uniform guidance, grant agreements, and state regulations.

Prior to joining the firm, Tommy was a Director at Postlethwaite & Netterville (P&N), a leading full-service accounting and business advisory firm. In this role, Tommy served as the Director in-charge on over 20 governmental audits. He assisted governmental agencies in applying for and successfully obtaining the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. In addition to serving governments as an audit director, Tommy has also assisted governments with staffing shortages with accounting augmentation services.
