Todd Lifson

Todd Lifson is a Partner with more than 30 years of comprehensive business experience. He is a trusted peer for his clients and specializes in highly complex audit, tax, and merger acquisition engagements. Much of his time is spent with business owners or senior leaders.

He is also an advisor to many boards of clients, helping them navigate primarily financial matters and advising on operational items, succession issues, leadership changes, and growth strategies.

Todd’s thoughtful, rational approach and his deep and versatile expertise allow him to navigate continuous, multifaceted situations. His leadership qualities and technical background have led him to work in the National Office of an international public accounting firm, with the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF), as well as serving as a project manager for the development of a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) manual.

Previously, Todd served for nearly 15 years as a member of the Executive Committee at Lurie LLP, a Minneapolis-based accounting and advisory firm providing clients with solutions in accounting, audit, tax planning, wealth management, and advisory services, serving business leaders in a wide variety of industries, including health care, professional services, technology, manufacturing, real estate, and more.

Furthermore, Todd has a significant background with domestic and global enterprises and large privately held, mid-market, and publicly held (SEC) businesses, encompassing a broad range of industries and challenges faced, and has a particular specialization in large family-owned enterprises.
