Thomas Grothues is a Partner in the Financial Services Group with over 15 years of public accounting experience. Thomas provides tax planning and compliance services to private equity funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, investment advisors and other financial services companies. He also advises clients on the tax implications of fund structuring, management company operations, partnership taxation issues and general tax issues as well as opportunities that arise during the lifecycle of a fund.
Prior to joining the firm, Thomas was a Director with a Big 4 accounting firm where he provided tax planning and compliance services to asset management clients.
