Sharon Keenan is an Audit Partner,and a member of the Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) services team. She has more than 15 years of public and private accounting experience, specializing in public companies, retail, technology, biotech, healthcare, financial services, and employee benefit plan auditing.
Sharon has significant experience serving large SEC entities including Sarbanes Oxley rules and regulations, registration statements, and due diligence projects for mergers and acquisitions transactions. She has also helped clients streamline business processes in order to strengthen their internal control structure. Sharon has assisted clients with complex accounting issues and regulatory compliance. In addition, she works with private companies and start-ups.
Sharon is a member of the firm’s audit leadership program, which provides support to engagement teams, and she is one of the founding members of Women in Technology, a networking group. Additionally, Sharon was on EisnerAmper’s Learning and Development Advisory Board, where she assisted in designing and implementing the firm’s training curriculum
Prior to entering public accounting, Sharon served as the Financial and Administrative Manager for several years at a large medical practice group affiliated with New York University Hospital, where she designed, developed and implemented financial best practices for billing, insurance claims and office management.
