Robert J. Meulmeester

Robert J. Meulmeester is a Director in the firm's Real Estate Services Group. With nearly 30 years of experience, Robert specializes in providing real estate finance, appraisal, and due diligence services. He has more than two decades of hands-on international real estate experience. Robert's valuation experience includes but is not limited to valuations for financial reporting, sale-and-leaseback structuring, lending, tax appeal, estate and gift tax, and asset management purposes. His experience also includes corporate real estate strategies including site selection highest and best-use studies, market rent studies, leasehold interest valuations to determine favorable and unfavorable leases and appraisal reviews.
Robert's professional journey has taken him to over 50 countries across Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Europe. He has operated from offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, India, and the United States, gaining a deep understanding of diverse real estate markets and cultural nuances.
Prior to joining the firm, Robert was a Director of a leading Los Angeles-based financial services company. Robert also founded RJM Worldwide in Philadelphia, which focused on real estate developments and investments nationwide. His background also includes key leadership roles at a prominent private equity firm, a Big 4 accounting firm, and a global professional services firm known for its expertise in audit and consulting.
Additionally, Robert teaches various real estate classes at New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate and Temple University's Real Estate Institute.
