Richard Cohen is an Advisor in the firm’s Not-for-Profit Services Group. With over 40 years of experience, Rich worked extensively with independent private schools, social service and health and welfare organizations, private schools for the disabled, foundations, and cultural and community organizations and associations. He assisted clients with strategic planning, financial management and governmental regulation compliance. Rich has strong expertise in the specialized issues of not-for-profit organizations, including year-end considerations, new FASB technical pronouncements and Uniform Guidance amendments, specialized tax and accounting procedures, reviews of tax-exempt status and unrelated business income issues.
Rich has spoken before many professional, civic and not-for-profit groups on finance-related topics and business planning.
