Ramya Bala

Ramya Bala is the Right-shoring Tax Partner and a member of the Financial Services Group. She has more than 10 years of experience serving asset management clients, including private equity funds, hedge funds, funds of funds and investment advisors. Ramya provides tax advisory and compliance services to both start-ups, in addition to well-established clients with U.S. and foreign operations. She also works with many of the firm’s clients on developing ways to control their federal, state and local tax costs.

Ramya leads the firm’s global tax right-shoring initiatives and supports the deployment of compliance and reporting tax processes, client on-boarding, process automation, recruitment and professional development, quality and risk management functions. She also leads many of the firm’s tax technology initiatives, including the firm’s tax partnership tool - Global Partnership Solution (GPS).

Ramya has presented on various tax related topics including Alternative Investment Year End Webinars. She is co-leader of the firm’s tax staff committee, and facilitates the internal training and mentoring of staff. In addition, she is a volunteer for EisnerAmper Cares, the firm’s community volunteer organization aimed at serving those in need through donations of employees’ time and skills to charitable, civic, and environmental projects.
