Mike Giffin is a Managing Director in the firm's Financial Advisory Services Group. With nearly 30 years of experience, Mike specializes in business valuation, intangible assets, and complex securities for both public and private corporate clients & private equity firms across a range of industries, including power, renewable & clean energy, oil & gas, oilfield services, aerospace, chemicals, metals & mining, engineering & construction, manufacturing, and restaurants.

Mike has an extensive background in providing financial advisory services in the areas of financial reporting, tax reporting, M&A planning, general management planning, and commercial litigation. With his broad range of expertise, he has established himself as a reliable resource for clients seeking financial guidance.

Prior to joining the firm, Mike spent 18 years as a Managing Director and co-head of FAS Energy with a Global Publicly Traded Investment Bank. His responsibilities involved overseeing valuation services, due diligence, the formulation of fairness and solvency opinions, dispute and litigation resolution, technical accounting for financial reporting, and fund opinion services.
