Kevin Harris

Kevin Harris is a Partner in the Private Client Services Group, with nearly 15 years of experience in public accounting. Kevin’s responsibilities include federal and state tax compliance and consulting. He serves clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, restaurant and construction.

Throughout his career, Kevin attributes his success in accounting to his diligence and determination. He is always willing to go the extra mile for his clients, and he has assisted clients with the restructuring of their company to maximize tax savings and enhance attractiveness for a future prospective buyer. Kevin worked to amend multiple years of state returns for a logistics company, electing a different methodology that resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax savings. Kevin is always looking for tax planning opportunities to take advantage of the ever-changing landscape.

Prior to joining the firm, Kevin was Partner-In-Charge of Tax at Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP (GPP), a leading full service audit and accounting firm in Dallas. His previous experience includes 14 years in public accounting, with five years each at a Big 4 accounting firm, a regional accounting firm, and 15 years in operations with a North American supermarket grocery store chain, headquartered in Texas.

Kevin has presented on a variety of topics related to tax legislation changes from the Tax Cut and Jobs Act (TCJA), the CARES Act, and the recently passed COVID-19 Economic Relief Bill.
