Joshua D. Northcutt

Joshua D. Northcutt is Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Johns Creek office. With nearly 30 years of public accounting experience, Josh specializes in providing investment fund audits for several real estate and non-real estate clients and has in-depth expertise in working with public and private real estate companies, commercial and residential property owners and operators, real estate developers, and land developers. He has also worked with military housing, healthcare, entertainment, and a variety of other industries.

Josh has most recently focused on the affordable housing industry, particularly in serving HUD-financed properties. He has gained a reputation as one of the leading experts in the HUD cost certification process across the United States. His experience has helped developers maneuver the obstacles of HUD financed properties, and as a result, he is frequently referred to by lenders as the trusted resource for first-time HUD developers. In addition, he has a thorough understanding of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program, which allows him to provide additional value to his clients. Josh's comprehensive background in audit, tax, and consulting has made him a valuable asset for a wide range of clients in the industry. In addition, his experience managing two different offices for a large national CPA firm has given him a vision of what it takes to deliver quality, on-time service and ensure client satisfaction at all times.

Prior to joining the firm, Josh was the Managing Partner of the Atlanta office of Tidwell Group, LLC, a full-service accounting firm specializing in the real estate sector across the United States, focusing on affordable housing, conventional real estate, and not-for-profit industries
