Hal Michels

Hal Michels is a Partner in the Private Client Services Group, with over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Hal leads engagement teams providing business tax planning, personal and estate tax planning, projections and forecasting, employee compensation programs, buy-sell agreements, shareholder agreements, transactional support for mergers and acquisitions, and critical financial planning to his clients.

Hal serves client in the in a variety of industries, including real estate construction, affordable housing, in addition to privately held business, and employee benefit plan audits.

Additionally he provides accounting, financial and strategic planning services to closely held businesses and executive teams to maximize profitability and growth.

Prior to joining the firm, Hal was with St. Clair CPAs, P.C., a leading accounting, audit, tax, advisory and financial consulting firm, where he provided accounting, auditing, advisory, tax, and enterprise risk management services.
