Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman is a Partner and a member of EA RESIG LLC. He has more than 25 years of experience covering a wide range of industries including real estate, financial services, manufacturing, and consumer products.

With a focus on private equity real estate, Gary is a leader of the firm’s outsourced funds administration practice and is responsible for providing clients with a diverse suite of accounting and administrative services for a variety of distressed and opportunistic equity and debt funds. He is also a specialist possessing expertise in collaborating with his clients to develop a first-class back office environment that helps clients manage their daily operations and meet their long-term goals and visions.

In addition, Gary has substantial experience assisting clients with the structuring and formation of their real estate funds and partnership agreements, and routinely works with funds that have master-feeder structures and structures that include real estate investment trusts (REITs) and blocker entities. He also has significant experience with the formation and maintenance of distribution waterfall models.

Prior to joining the firm, Gary was a Partner at the accounting firm Imowitz Koenig & Co., LLP (IK) and their real estate fund advisory firm Real Estate Systems Implementation Group LLC (RESIG), where he primarily focused on fund administration services. He also worked at a national accounting firm, focused on the middle market, where he was part of the national Private Equity Group and served as the private equity group assurance leader for the northwest region.
