Elena Newman

Elena Newman is a Partner in the Financial Services Group. She has more than 20 years of diversified audit, accounting, tax, and advisory experience. Elena has in-depth expertise in the alternative investment industry.

Elena leads engagement teams providing audit and accounting services with a primary industry focus on private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and funds of funds. She has developed a particular expertise in private equity and venture capital.

Prior to joining the firm, Elena was a Business Unit Controller for a leading broker-dealer firm for various business groups and directly reported to senior management.

Elena regularly speaks on risk assessment topics, and also develops content on various topics for staff training and development. She is actively involved in the firm’s practice growth initiatives and a member of the New Jersey Chapter Steering Committee for the Women of EisnerAmper.
