Alan Gubernick

Alan Gubernick is a Partner in the Private Client Services Group, with over three decades of experience in accounting, tax, and finance. Alan specializes in building value for all of his clients, both large and small.

Alan’s expertise spans many industries with a special focus in the real estate and affordable housing sectors. Working on behalf of developers and syndicators, he monitors their compliance with Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency (PHFA) regulations, optimizes project tax credits, conducts annual audits, and addresses tax issues with the Internal Revenue Service.

Alan develops financial strategies that balance long-term business planning with short-term operational efficiencies. He also advises clients on financial planning, business tax planning, personal and estate tax planning, projections and forecasting, loan document preparation, the design and monitoring of accounting systems, and the selection and management of internal accounting personnel.

Prior to joining the firm, Alan was with St. Clair CPAs, P.C., a leading accounting, audit, tax, advisory and financial consulting firm, where he provided accounting, auditing, advisory, tax, and enterprise risk management services.

In the community, Alan serves as a Board Member of the Philadelphia Youth Basketball (PYB), an organization dedicated to empowering young people in the Philadelphia region to reach their potential as students, athletes, and positive leaders. As an active member of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), currently serving as past chair.
