Adam Tretinik

Adam Tretinik is Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Atlanta office. With 20 years of experience, Adam's primary area of practice is real estate, with an emphasis on affordable housing, including low-income housing tax credits, HUD-assisted projects, NFP/A-133, and USDA / Rural Development projects, and commercial real estate.
In addition to his real estate responsibilities, Adam also serves construction contractors, mortgage companies, governmental entities, not-for-profits, and various other small businesses. He provides these clients with a variety of services ranging from evaluating their internal control structure, third party attestation services, consulting services, and financial statement audits.
Adam has deep experience in planning and executing all assigned audit engagements, directly supervising all fieldwork, reviewing financial statements and cost certifications, and reviewing for compliance with laws and contracts. Assignments clients have included audits, cost certifications (Final Tax Credit Cost Certifications, HUD Mortgagor's Cost Certifications, HUD Contractor's Cost Certifications, and HOME Loan Contractor's Cost Certifications), reviews, and compilations of financial statements.
Prior to joining the firm, Adam was a Partner in Tidwell Group, LLC, a full-service accounting firm specializing in the real estate sector across the United States, with a focus on affordable housing, conventional real estate, and not-for-profit industries. Before this role, Adam served as an Audit Senior Manager and team leader at a top-10 national accounting firm specializing in real estate. He significantly contributed to the firm’s learning and development by creating training programs that enhanced staff skills across the company. Adam also led initiatives for staff development, retention, and policy adaptation in response to evolving real estate regulations.
