In this role, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be a hands-on transformation agent and a key partner to the senior leadership team in driving financial insight and performance. Primary responsibilities include compiling, reporting, and analyzing financial information on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis across organizational verticals, with emphasis on revenue and gross margin performance, and SG&A variances to plan. In addition, this position is responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial models and systems that provide decision guidance on current operations and long-range planning.
Direct Report
This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
Essential Responsibilities
· Prepare and distribute recurring reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis focusing on key financial results, operational metrics, performance targets, quotas on a consolidated and vertical basis.
· Provide financial analysis, business modeling, and decision support to leadership team and operational managers.
· Develop, maintain, and improve budgeting and financial modeling tools and reports that focus and drive the business on key initiatives and core functions.
· Maintain and improve the revenue forecasting models and reporting of the business and related verticals.
· Project future business performance with financial, sales, and performance forecasts and scenario plans.
· Evaluate, implement, and maintain financial planning software and structure of ERP to provide clear, accurate, and timely data on the business.
· Create effective financial presentations that condense detailed data and analysis into easily accessible insights for operating managers, leadership team, and board of directors.
· Assist on special projects to support the vertical and horizontal teams with their financial analysis and key assumption development for business cases and key initiatives.
Required Experience
· 5 to 7 years of progressive corporate finance experience
· CPA or FMVA certification preferred but not required
· Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
· Strong systems knowledge (ERP, CRM, FP&A tools)
· Entrepreneurial attitude, self-motivated, and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
· Seasoned in managing timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and communication across teams.
· Proficiency with tools of the trade including Microsoft Office, HR platforms.
· Experience working in a fast-paced technology organization.
