Role Overview:
As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for manually managing the entire agency billing process for our clients. Your deep understanding of insurance financial operations will be crucial in modeling our product for future automation. You will be the bridge between our clients and our automation technology, ensuring smooth financial operations while we work towards automating these tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

- Agency Billing Management: Handle all aspects of agency billing, including payment collections, management of trust accounts, and carrier payouts.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest improvements.
- Client Interaction: Work closely with agency customers to understand their needs and provide top-notch financial operation services.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely data entry and management of financial records.
- Feedback Loop: Provide valuable insights to our product development team to help automate the processes you manage.
- Industry Networking: Leverage your network within the insurance market to foster relationships and gather industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial operations or management within the insurance industry.
- Skills: Strong understanding of insurance financial processes, including agency billing, direct bill operations payments, trust account reconciliation, and payouts.
- Analytical Ability: Excellent analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and optimize processes.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using financial software and tools; experience with financial automation is a plus.
- Network: Well-connected within the insurance industry, with the ability to leverage relationships for business insights and opportunities.
